Trust & Data Handling

Integrations

How Satark AI protects your credentials, data, and privacy when connecting third-party tools.

Credential security

When you connect an integration, Satark AI stores your credentials securely — they are never displayed in the UI, logged in plain text, or shared with other organizations.

  • Credentials are encrypted at rest
  • Access is restricted to the sync process that needs them
  • You can disconnect an integration at any time, which revokes credential access

Data isolation

Each organization's data is fully isolated. Your findings, integrations, compliance status, and activity logs are never visible to other organizations on the platform.

What data is collected

When you connect an integration, Satark AI syncs:

  • Security findings — Issues detected by the connected tool
  • Configuration metadata — Settings relevant to security posture (e.g. MFA status, branch protection rules)
  • Asset inventory — Cloud resources, repositories, and identities (for mapping and graphing)

Satark AI does not collect:

  • Source code contents
  • Customer or employee personal data (unless explicitly configured for PII vaulting)
  • Financial transaction data

Data residency

Organizations can configure regional data handling preferences. Activity logs and sensitive data respect your organization's regional settings.

AI and your data

The AI Assistant uses your organization's context (findings, frameworks, policies) to provide relevant answers. Your data is not used to train general AI models.

Disconnecting an integration

When you disconnect an integration:

  1. Credential access is immediately revoked
  2. Sync stops — no new data is collected
  3. Previously synced findings remain in your organization for audit history
  4. You can delete historical findings if your policy requires it
