Setup Guide

Getting Started

A step-by-step guide to getting your organization set up on Satark AI.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • A provisioned Satark AI account with an assigned role
  • Admin access to at least one organization
  • Credentials for the integrations you plan to connect (e.g. AWS, GitHub)
  • Your organization's compliance frameworks identified (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)

Step 1 — Sign in and complete your profile

  1. Sign in using your email or SSO provider
  2. Complete your profile (name, role, contact details)
  3. Set up two-factor authentication if your organization requires it (Settings → Security)

Step 2 — Configure your organization

  1. Go to Settings → My Organizations
  2. Create or select your organization
  3. Set your compliance profile — which frameworks apply to you
  4. Choose your industry and sector for contextual recommendations
  5. Configure your yearly security budget (Settings → Yearly Security Budget) for ROI comparisons on the CISO dashboard

Step 3 — Connect integrations

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations
  2. Choose a vendor (e.g. AWS, GitHub, Snyk)
  3. Follow the connection wizard — Satark AI will guide you through credential setup
  4. Verify the integration shows as connected with a recent sync

Start with one integration

Connect your most critical tool first (usually AWS or GitHub). Once findings appear, connect additional tools.

Step 4 — Define your scope

  1. Zones — Create organizational zones to scope audits and products (Settings → Zones)
  2. Products — Register products in audit scope with URLs and zone assignments (Settings → Products)

Step 5 — Invite your team

  1. Go to Settings → Members
  2. Invite colleagues and assign roles
  3. Optionally create custom roles with module-specific permissions (Settings → Roles & Data Groups)

Step 6 — Explore the platform
