How the AI Assistant Works

AI Assistant

Understanding how Mr./Ms. Satark provides contextual, role-aware guidance.

The conversation flow

1. You ask a question

Open the AI Assistant from the platform navigation and type your question in natural language. Examples:

  • "What are our top 5 critical findings?"
  • "Explain the SOC 2 access control requirements"
  • "Help me draft a data retention policy"
  • "What's our cloud security posture this month?"

2. Context gathering

The assistant automatically considers your organization's data:

  • Connected integrations and their findings
  • Selected compliance frameworks and control status
  • Policies, risks, and recent activity
  • Dashboard metrics and trends

This means answers are specific to your organization, not generic.

3. Role routing

Complex questions may be routed to a specialized perspective:

Role Handles
Policy Officer Policy drafting, interpretation, and compliance mapping
Risk Officer Risk assessment, categorization, and mitigation
Compliance Officer Framework requirements, control status, audit prep
Security Officer Technical security posture, findings, hardening
CIO Strategic technology and security investment decisions

You don't need to choose a role — the assistant selects the best perspective automatically.

4. Response delivery

Answers include actionable guidance, references to relevant findings or controls, and suggested next steps. You can ask follow-up questions in the same conversation.

5. Conversation history

Past conversations are saved so you can return to previous discussions and continue where you left off.
